Every day, neighbors come to the Mountain Lakes Public Library Makerspace to find a community hub that centers on collaboration and curiosity: a place for all ages to learn new skills, explore new ideas, and bring their creativity to life. Dream. Create. Innovate.
Storytelling, crafting, building, 3D printing, chess, and cultural celebrations all serve to connect us and strengthen us as a community.
The internationally recognized Universal Design Lab strives to create a world that is more user friendly- for all. High school students design, prototype, and develop real-world partnerships with real-world impact.

New York City Public School Vision Services team.
A highlight of our discussions was a presentation by Savaas Iqbal and his team at Cornell Assistive Technologies. Savaas’ Cornell team has greatly expanded the tactile programming block project we started over two years ago at the ML Makerspace.
We don’t just have a motto ‘small is scale, large in reach’: we live it!
